Running 5-day challenges is the latest marketing ‘big thing’…and with good reason.

It’s a powerful way to genuinely connect with your audience and get them to experience for themselves the transformations you provide.

It should be easy to turn more of your challengees into clients, so why aren’t as many people signing up as you thought?

Why Copywriting Templates Don’t Work
(And What To Do Instead)…

If you run challenges, you know how much time and energy goes into making them work.

But have you put the same amount of time and energy into making sure that the copy you write is aligned with your audience and your overall message?

After writing some very profitable sales copy for online coaches, I’ve discovered there’s a lot of incomplete information floating out there.

A lot of the copywriting advice out there is fine for pushy internet marketers. But it’s usually not appropriate for coaches, healers and therapists who value the relationship they build with their audience.

If you’ve been using templates, many of them are based on concepts that have been reworked from the direct marketing and advertising worlds. These aren’t industries known for their subtlety and authenticity – which is why your spidey-senses get triggered, and you see copy as being sleazy.

Look, it’s easy enough to grab a sales page template, follow along with some formulas, and assume that will be enough to convert your challengees into clients.

Unfortunately, this template-led approach rarely works in the way people think it will.

The problem? By using templates on their own – you end up with a bunch of nice-sounding sentences and phrases that have zero connection to the reader. 

You’re forgetting the person you should be putting at the centre of the entire process. The person reading your copy.

I spent five of those years building websites. I’ve also built and launched a number of my own online courses.
